"Life on the Farm" |
Our morning sessions are spent caring for farm animals, tending to the organic gardens, hiking in the oak woodlands and cooking fresh healthy food (most of it from our gardens).
After lunch and games we take it easy and relax in the shade and work on arts and crafts activities. As the day comes to an end we all join together in the Bay Grove to make music and share stories in our tepee.

"Art Exploration" |
This camp has many of the same components as "Life on the Farm" (caring for farm animals, tending to the organic gardens, hiking in the oak woodlands, etc.), but it will be a unique experience for children who want to explore art as well. We give campers instruction in the fundamentals of a variety of media and then provide them the opportunity to design and create their own projects, most of which will be based on farm or nature themes.
We'll work with beeswax, watercolors, clay and a variety of materials for weaving and nature projects.

"Dirt to Dine" Click here for more detailed information. |
This camp is for budding young chefs and is a collaboration between Connolly Ranch and Chef Michael Chiarello & Bottega Restaurant.
Dirt To Dine is week-long summer camp bridging farming, gardening and cooking experiences in a dynamic, hands-on, youth-driven environment. The camp brings your young epicurean’s enthusiasm for all things cooking back to the source of the ingredients: land, soil, seeds, animals, plants and more.

"Creativity through Nature" |
The goal of this week long camp is to encourage participants to step away from the televisions, computers and and delve into their creative selves. We have a dynamic group of counselors ready to guide the kids through a variety of creative arts. We will sing, dance, do yoga, make hula hoops, face paint, oil paint on canvas, work on multi-media collages, sew, weave, explore, & more! Space is very limited so sign up early!

"Ecology Play Camp" |
Ecology is the study of living organisms in relationship to their environment. Ecology Play Camp strives to cultivate children’s (re)connection to our earth, the one environment that we all share. The intention is to inspire a genuine understanding of and enthusiastic involvement in how and why we promote clean, healthy habitats for all living things. Within a structured daily routine, including caring for farm animals, tending to the organic gardens and creative art time, we play and learn with nature as our primary teacher.
