Spring Camps

Spring Break Camps 2018: March 26-30

Springtime is when nature is bursting with new life and fresh energy. We invite your children to keep active, healthy and engaged during their time off from school by joining us for a spring camp.

Junior Farmers: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
(aftercare available if 3 or more people request it)
 Ages 3 – 5
This camp is full of playful, educational and safe activities for 3, 4 and 5 year olds, designed to inspire a connection with and love of nature and the outdoors. During our time together, your children will feed and care for the farm animals, get creative with arts and crafts, experience the garden through digging, planting and harvesting seasonal flowers and vegetables, laugh and smile during story and music time and explore freely in the natural open playspace we call ‘The Grove’.
Life on the Farm: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
 Ages 5 – 8
During this spring week, the children will take care of the farm animals including the new spring lambs and baby chicks, get creative with arts and crafts, learn about our honeybees and other pollinators, cook with local ingredients, build natural shelters, learn about seed starting in the greenhouse, get their hands dirty in the garden and of course hike and explore the nature trails in Westwood Hills park. Part of the day, campers will be divided into groups by age and part of the day by interest. In any case, we promise your children will come home tired and inspired!
Connolly Ranch Stewards: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
 Ages 8 – 13
Join us for a behind the scenes perspective of Connolly Ranch and it’s natural history. Work on conservation projects, build natural shelters, learn survival and homesteading skills, explore rarely used areas, hike in the hills, and discover the many lessons Connolly Ranch has to offer this age group.
Counselors-in-Training: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
 Ages 13 – 15
Participants in Connolly Ranch’s Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program learn to develop their natural good talents into leadership qualities, growing in areas of self-reflection, communication, role-modeling, teamwork and accountability. During each session, CITs earn both respect and responsibility while mentoring young campers, assisting staff and enjoying and contributing to this wonderful place.

If you need to cancel a registration, a refund may be issued, minus a cancellation fee of 20% of the total cost of the program, provided cancellation takes place at least 7 days before the start date of the program enrolled in.

Alternatively, we can transfer the amount paid, less a fee of 10% of the total cost of the program, to a new registration or hold as a credit for a future Connolly Ranch program.

If cancellation takes place less than 7 days before the start date, no refund will be issued.
