Earth Night Festival 2019

[su_youtube url=”” mute=”yes”]

Earth Night Festival & Fundraiser was held on April 27, 2019 and was a big success with your help.

Earth Night Festival and Fundraiser is the ultimate trifecta, celebrating music, nature, and art! Spend time with the animals – and spring babies, tour an art exhibition by prominent local artists, try hands-on farm activities and exploratory play stations and dance under the stars to CON BRIO – one of San Francisco’s hottest bands.

Guests 21+ are invited to join meet the artists at our new ticketed after party with music by DJ Boca Negra, cocktail bar, tasty bites and live art creation by blacksmith Julie Henry.

In connection with our upcoming Earth Night event, we are announcing the first ever art contest at Connolly Ranch! We are looking for submissions in several age groups but only one category:

“What you love about Connolly Ranch?”

The content/design should be unique and interesting, as the artworks will be judged on originality and creativity. The artist may use any media (pencil, crayon, paint, collage, hand printing, linotype, etc). Although photography is fine to use, come up with a distinctive use of it by incorporating it into your overall design. Please avoid designs with personalized images and names of family, friends, or other organizations. All work must be released for individual usage. All entries must contain copyright-free art or art released for entrant’s and public use. We ask that you stay in two dimensions. While nature offers us all the space we need, for display purposes we would like to keep it to paper / canvas. Size should be no larger than 11x17 inches.

The age groups are:
1. Preschool (under 5 years old)
2. Young schoolers (6-8 years old)
3. Middle schoolers (9-13 years old)
4. Forever learners (14 and above)

Please send original artwork via mail to 3141 Browns Valley Road, Napa CA 94558.
You may also drop off your artwork in person at the follow days/times:
April Walk-in Wednesday (4/3) between 3-5 pm
Second Saturday (4/13) between 9 am - 12 pm
Deadline Submission: Friday, April 19 by 4 pm

Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to the best artwork in each age group. The top entries in each category will be on display during our Earth Night festival on April 27th. A “People’s Choice” special award will given after a public vote during Earth Night. Art Work will be on display and final results will be announced at our Walk-in Wednesday on May 8, 2019.
