Nestled in the heart of Napa, our cherished 13-acre historic property, paired with our passionate educators, Connolly Ranch serves as a sanctuary where children can embark on an early childhood journey of discovery amidst the splendor of our outdoor classrooms - farm, edible and pollinator gardens and WildSpaces. Through immersive, discovery-based education, we instill the values of nature-based learning, ensuring that every moment —be it communing with our animals, tending to our bountiful edible garden, or venturing into our enchanting WildSpaces—becomes a soulful encounter with the natural world.

Playschool provides an 8:1 child-to-educator ratio and is a screen-free environment.

2025-2026 Playschool Enrollment Open!

You're invited to discover what makes Playschool at Connolly Ranch Education Center such a special place for young learners! Our upcoming Open Houses offer a firsthand look at a day in the life of our Earthlings (ages 3–4) and Explorers (ages 5–6) as they learn and grow on the farm. Join us on Tuesday May 6th or Friday June 6th—choose the date that works best for your family! Please note that attendance is not required for enrollment in the 2025–2026 Playschool year.

During the event, our experienced team of Preschool, TK, and Kindergarten educators will share insights into our rich, child-centered curriculum and how we support the unique developmental needs of young children at every stage. Families and children are welcome—come explore how your child can thrive in our outdoor, nature-based learning environment!
