Sunday Farm Open House

Join us for a Farm Open House, a perfect way for families to spend time outdoors, connect with nature, and see the ranch in action. This self-guided experience invites visitors of all ages to explore the farm at their own pace, observe our animals from outside their enclosures, and enjoy a special activity each Sunday. Families may also choose to register for an add-on Farm-to-Table experience, a guided, hands-on class offered during every Farm Open House that provides a deeper connection to seasonal food and life on the farm.

Time: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: Connolly Ranch Education Center

General Admission Pricing:

  • Adults: $12

  • Children (2 & up): $5

  • Children under 2: Free

Farm Open House is a self-guided experience, allowing families to arrive and explore at their own pace during open hours. Carpooling is encouraged.

Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, though online pre-registration is recommended.

Farm-to-Table Family Classes are guided, hands-on cooking experiences offered as an add-on during every Farm Open House. Designed for families to cook, learn, and connect together, these classes highlight seasonal ingredients and offer a deeper look at where food comes from.

Classes are led either by a Connolly Ranch Community Educator or a guest chef, depending on the date. Each Family Class ticket includes general admission to Sunday Farm Open House and admits up to 2 adults and 3 children. Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended.

Family Farm- to- Table Family Classes

Led by our Community Educators, these classes focus on simple, seasonal recipes and farm-based learning. Families can expect to:

  • Participate in a guided, hands-on cooking activity

  • Learn how ingredients grow and are harvested on the farm

  • Enjoy a screen-free experience together

  • Visit our farm animals up close

Fee: $45 per family

Staff-Led Farm-to-Table Family Classes

On certain dates, Farm-to-Table Classes are led by a guest chef, including Chris Marchino. These classes place a greater emphasis on:

  • Culinary instruction and technique

  • Preparing a more complete shared meal (such as pizza or pasta)

  • Cooking and enjoying food together in a communal setting

Chef-led classes remain family-friendly, while offering a more meal-centered experience.

Fee: $60 per family

Where to Find Us

Directions:
Our main visitor entrance is located on Thompson Avenue off of Browns Valley Road in Napa, California. The open gate leads you to a gravel lot where you can park. For safety measures, all guests must sign in and register for a program prior to entering the farm.
