At Connolly Ranch Summer Camp, children unplug, explore, and thrive—building a deep connection to nature that stays with them for life. As Napa’s only 100% outdoor camp with farm-to-table cooking, friendly farm animals, and overnight adventures, we offer a rare blend of joy, growth, and wonder. Through hands-on learning, nature play, and meaningful relationships, campers grow confident, curious, and grounded in the world around them—all in a safe, nurturing environment led by experienced educators.

Session 1 - Week 1

Theme: Flavors of the Farm
A Farm-to-Table Adventure


Explore farm-to-table cuisine using fresh ingredients from the Ranch’s garden and local farmers markets. Cook sweet treats and savory bites, harvest herbs and veggies, and learn about healthy ecosystems. With farm-themed games, crafts, and tastings, this session fosters culinary skills and environmental awareness.

Theme: Roots & Rations
A Forage and Outdoor Skill Exploration


Explore the wilderness while learning essential survival skills and ways to live off the land. Forage for edible plants in the garden, identify forest flora, and practice cooking simple meals using natural ingredients. Build shelters, follow trails, and master fire-craft, all while playing nature-themed games and crafting projects that deepen your connection to the outdoors. Fostering independence, resourcefulness, and a love for the natural world!

Theme: Bloom & Buzz
A Pollinator's Paradise


Explore the world of pollinators and discover how bees, butterflies, and other critters help ecosystems thrive. Hunt for pollinators, build bug hotels, plant wildflowers, and create crafts like butterfly feeders. With games and honey tastings, this session fosters a love for pollinators and their vital role in nature.

7/27 through 8/7


Theme: Legends & Lore
From Fables to Forests


Explore nature-inspired myths, magical creatures, and ancient legends through storytelling and outdoor adventure. Create fairy houses, woodland sculptures, and take guided walks to discover the plants and animals that inspired these tales. This session sparks creativity and curiosity in the enchanting outdoors.

Junior Farmers

(Ages 3-5)

Junior Farmers are our youngest adventurers, sparking curiosity through hands-on activities like meeting farm animals, crafting, playing games, and exploring nature. Farm-to-table experiences introduce them to fresh ingredients in fun, sensory ways. Families can choose half-day or full-day sessions to fit their needs.

Ranchers

(Ages 6-7)

Ranchers take the next step in outdoor adventure, building confidence through creative projects, animal care, and nature hikes. They dive into farm-to-table activities, preparing delicious treats with fresh ingredients to share with new friends. This session offers plenty of time for imaginative play, exciting challenges, and outdoor exploration.

Pathfinders

(Ages 8-9)

Pathfinders thrive as they stretch their independence and dive into ranch life with activities like hiking, creative projects, and connecting with animals. A special highlight is their opportunity to stay late and prepare and share a delicious farm-to-table dinner with friends, creating a memorable celebration of their camp experience. This session offers endless fun, friendship, and exploration.

Full-Day Campers:

Stewards

(Ages 10-12)

Stewards are our seasoned campers, ready for deeper connections to the Ranch through animal care, gardening, and farm-to-table cooking. They take on leadership through group projects and teamwork, culminating in an unforgettable overnight stay where they prepare and enjoy their own meal, bond under the stars, and wake up to the peaceful sounds of the Ranch. This session is the perfect mix of adventure, growth, and lasting friendships.

Full-Day Campers:
(8:30am-4:00pm) $1350/2-week Session 
*Includes overnight campout at the Ranch on the second Wednesday of each Session* Session 1 includes a camp-style dinner at the Ranch on Wednesday of both weeks

Interns

(Ages 13-15)

Campers in Leadership Training develop valuable skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving through hands-on activities and mentorship roles. They assist with camp programs, helping younger campers while deepening their connection to nature and the Ranch’s mission. This immersive experience builds leadership confidence, fosters lasting friendships, and nurtures a strong sense of community. Offered in Session 3 only.

Campers in Leadership Training

 (ages 16-18)

CREC’s Internship Program for high school students develops future environmental leaders through hands-on work in ecological systems, sustainable farming, and animal husbandry. Interns gain mentorship, lead activities, and support summer camp programs, working with CREC’s farm team and staff. They receive a seasonal stipend, learning the value of hard work and community service while exploring careers in nonprofit, environmental, and sustainable agriculture fields.

Registration Details:

How to Register:
- Use the link to access our registration platform. We are using a new registration platform - if your email address is not recognized you will need to create a new profile just this once.
- Select the session(s) you would like to register your child(ren) for.
- Fill out all required forms as prompted.
- Proceed to checkout.

 
How to Pay:
- Pay in full at registration.
- Payments can be made through bank transfer or by credit card.
- The deadline to cancel your enrollment and be eligible for a refund was April 1, 2026 for all sessions.
- Each enrollment has an added (non-refundable) $25 Ranch Fee to support our outdoor classrooms and farm.

*Applications for Financial Support can be open soon. The deadline to apply for financial support is April 20th, 2025*


Waitlists:
- If your desired session is full, you will have the option to join the waitlist during registration.
- If/when a space becomes available you will be notified via email.
- You will have 7 days to accept the open spot or it will be given to the next camper in line and you will be removed from the waitlist.
- All registrations from the waitlist are final and not eligible for a refund.

More Information:
- You can choose to attend 1 or both weeks of Session 1. All other sessions are 2 weeks.
- We do not hold spots. It is first come, first serve.
- The Ranch will be closed July 3rd (Holidays)
- Jr. Farmers must be fully potty trained (no diapers or pull-ups) by the start of camp.
- A welcome email with everything you need to know about Summer Camp will be sent shortly before camp begins.
